Open Door ’ in Ontario for Canadians of Japanese origin
appeared much nearer at hand today, as‘fifty vigorous,
high-spirited second generation from the highway camps
at bchrdber and jackfish, started work driving logs down
the liver for the Austin Lumber Company at Nicholson
Ontario, 225 miles east of here.

The men will work for approximately six weeks until completion of
