20 Chinese cabbage leaves
1 lb. chicken meat, minced

1 potato, boiled
tbsp, dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
pepper
1 Yz cups dashi slock
!4 cup sake or sherry
tbsp, shoyu
tbsp, sugar
tsp. Ajinomoto

tbsp, cornstarch
Method:
Parboil the cabbage leaves. Grind! or chop potato fine. Mix together with bread crumbs, egg, salt, dash of peppei- and chicken
meat.
Place two leaves side by side overlapping a little. Place a.
mound of the mixture on the leaves and roll. Fold the ends over.
Put the stock, sake, sugar, shoyu and Ajinomoto in a pan or
caserole. Lay the rolls and simmer 15 minutes. Remove from stock
and place on individual plates. Dissolve corn starch in little water
and add to the remaining sauce. Pour this over the cabbage rolls.
