WINNIPEG.—Radio station CJOB-FAf, Winnipeg has announc­
ed a 50 minute Japanese music program to be aired once a month,
on their International Hour.
The program features a variety of old and new Japanese music
generously interspersed with interesting and informative narration
between music by Hubert Beyer, one of the outstanding writers
of this area;
Radio station CJOB-FM can be heard at 97.5 megacycles on
the FAI dial with a coverage up to a radius of 200 miles from
Winnipeg.
The first program went on the air on November 17th from 7:10
p.m. to 8:00 p.m., but future programs will be broadcast from
9:10 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on. the following dates:
December 15, January 19, February 16, and March 16.
Should any organization or person wish to make an important
spot announcement on this program regarding Japanese Canadian
activities of public benefit, please contact F. Ejima at the Con­
sulate of Japan, 301 Tribune Building, Winnipeg, Alan. Due con­
sideration will be given to such requests but acceptance only at
the discretion of the program director.
