, TORONTO. Tlie Toronto Japanese Language School Christmas
party was held on December 17, 1967 at the Japanese Canadian
UU1 4 nn - ntre’ The Party turned out to be a huge success with
?7ein ^00 in attendance. Following the opening addresses by Mr.
K. Saito, chairman of the School Board and Mr. M. Tsukamoto,
V^e President of the Ijikai, the 17 teachers of the 3 Japanese schools
attending the party were introduced. At this time Mr. T. Kamitakahara, the hard working general secretary of the Ijikai, was
presented with a gift from the Ijikai.
The entertainment ‘ was provided by the students of the 3
schools themselves who, under the direction of the 3 principals,
Messrs Nishihama, Yano, and Ichiki, presented a delightful program
wliich was enjoyed by all. As a special added attraction a choral
group comprised of recent immigrants from Japan rendered several
choice selections which added to the success of the party.

party was held on December 17, 1967 at the Japanese Canadian
UU1 4 nn - ntre’ The Party turned out to be a huge success with
?7ein ^00 in attendance. Following the opening addresses by Mr.
K. Saito, chairman of the School Board and Mr. M. Tsukamoto,
V^e President of the Ijikai, the 17 teachers of the 3 Japanese schools
attending the party were introduced. At this time Mr. T. Kamitakahara, the hard working general secretary of the Ijikai, was
presented with a gift from the Ijikai.
The entertainment ‘ was provided by the students of the 3
schools themselves who, under the direction of the 3 principals,
Messrs Nishihama, Yano, and Ichiki, presented a delightful program
wliich was enjoyed by all. As a special added attraction a choral
group comprised of recent immigrants from Japan rendered several
choice selections which added to the success of the party.
Some Japanese films depicting the modern industries as well
as the scenic beauty of Japan were shown through the courtesy of
