On February 22, 1976 a movie, Shinobu-gawa, was shown
at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre in cooperation with
the Consulate .General of Japan, the proceeds of which were
to help finance the Toronto Japanese Language School gra­
duating students 3rd annual Educational Trip to Japan. The
tremendous response received on this occasion is greatly
