Fusing Japanese traditional painting techniques with his
Western lifestyle, Kazuo Hamasaki, whose study of and sensuous delight in Nature has achieved through his .paintings
and artistic expression of exquisite reflections of his enviro
nment.

Iri a recent survey by a leading art magazine, Ichimai no
E’’, published in Tokyo, Hamasaki was one of two Canadian
artists interviewed by its editor, Mr. Koji Ichida, for a series
on Japanese artists in North and South America and Europe.
This is Kazuo> Hamasaki’s first showing in Toronto in a
number of years after a series of successful solo exhibitions
in Montreal, Stewart Hall Galerie d’Art in Pointe Claiie,
Quebec, Yarmouth and Halifax, N.S., and in Edmonton, Alta,
besides participation in juried Canadian and international
'group, shows. ■
