TORONTO. — Calling all -former residents of Prince
Rupert and Skeena, B;C.! Now it's your turn. A “Former
Prince Rupert-Skeena Reunion will be held on September
4, 1982 at the Meadowvale Community Centre, 6655 Glen
Erin Drive in Mississauga (Toronto), Ontario.
But before entering this nostalgic repast back to the
young yester years, a committee organizing this gathering
needs to hear from you. The committee expresses the
hope that air those Rupert-ites and Skeena-ites from
across Canada will respond.

EDMONTON, Alta?— The Edmonton Japanese Communi
ty Club recently announced that its annual Scholarship Award
will accept applications until July 31st, 1982. It is open to all

secondary students..
The Award: A maximum of twoscholarships will be made available, based on $500 per award to be applied to the 1982-83
school year.
For application forms and further information, please con

plication form is postmark July 31, 1982.
Eligibility: a) Application is open to persons of Japanese
ancestry; b) Application is open to full-time students enrolled. at a high school or post-secondary institution for the 1982-83
academic year; c) Applicants must have attained a minimum
average of 70 percent (6.5 at U. of A.) during the 1981-82 aca
demic year; d) The applicant or his/her parent(s) must have
been a member of the EJCC of the past three years.
