Japanese PM to
meet Mulroney in
Toronto Jan. 15-16

OTTAWA. — The Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre's
first managing director, Mr. Robert Kadoguchi was named
as Member of the Order of Canada on Dec. 24th, 1987 by
the Governor-General of Canada, Jean
Sauve. He was one off 43 named to the
order, established in 1967 to recognize
outstanding achievement and service.
Another 22 were named as officers of
the order.
The insignia is expected to be awarded
by the Governor-General at a ceremony in
the Senate chamber in Ottawa in April, a
spokesman said.
In 1986, Mr. Kadoguchi was the recipient of the Fifth
Order off the Rising Sun.
