Gordon Gordey of Kamloops.
Ritsu also leaves to cherish
her memory seven brothers
and their wives: Kazushi and
Joyce, Masashi and Rose,
Roy and Kay, Ross and Nan­
cy, Joe and Rae, Yoshiro and
Terry, and Gene Shin, all of
Toronto; 2 sisters: Hisako
Shinkoda and Minako and her
husband Robert Suzuki, both

service-was conducted-Saturday, November 18, 1989. Inferment followed at Hillside
Cemetery.

Kyoku and the Rev. S. Ikuta
of Calgary. Cremation follow­
ed on November 20th with
Kamloops Funeral Home in

merly of Toronto, died sud­
denly in Sydney, Australia on
October 25, 1989. He was
born in Vancouver on Octo-ber31, 1938, the first child of
Eizaburo (Vincent) and Yaeko
(Irene) Maruno.
After earning his B.A. and
M.A, in Economics from Mc­
Master University, Leonard
started his career in the
investment business with
Bache in Toronto and New
York. He moved to Merrill
Lynch and spent several
years in Tokyo before per­
manently settling in Sydney,
Australia with his wife and ,
children. For the past several
years, he was the Manager of
Equity Investment (Asia) for a
major international insurance
company.
