Women
In The Workforce
Are they being paid
what their jobs are really worth?
With Ontario’s new pay
equity law, employers must pay
women’s jobs (like nurses,
secretaries, cashiers) as much
as men’s jobs - if the jobs are of
equal value to the employers.

As of January 1,1990,
private employers with more
than 500 employees* and all
public employers must post a
pay equity notice in their
workplace.

For more information, talk to your
employer, or write us.
